Mount Edgecombe Country Club
Founded by the 'Sugar Baron's' of the 1860's. One's imagination is captured
on the approach to the clubhouse, avenued by 'Royal Palms', reminiscent
to the Augusta National in the United States. The fairways pass through
the dense massing of pine and gum trees. Stunning shrubbery and spectacular
water hazards eventually lead to the multi-teared greens. The par 5 fifth
is incredibly daunting. After negotiating your way down the fairway, with
out-of-bounds on both sides, your faced with a green surrounded with water
and bunkers. A course worth playing.

which should not be missed. The fairways are wide here, but need to be,
as thick rough and a strong sea breeze remind the golfer how important
accuracy is. During a round one will have to play over dams, ravines &
even a waterfall. The magnificent clubhouse overlooks the 18th and will
